App Store optimization that ends in a change, not a report.
Most ASO tools give you data and leave the work to you. Apptiller drafts the listing change, shows you why, writes it to App Store Connect when you say yes, and checks whether it helped.

| Field | Now | Proposed |
|---|---|---|
| Subtitle | Weekly meal plan | Weekly meal planner & recipes |
| Keywords | 86 of 100 characters used | 98 of 100 characters used |

Why most ASO stops at the spreadsheet
App Store optimization is simple to describe and slow to do. You work out which searches matter, rewrite a title and subtitle that hold 30 characters each, fit the rest into a 100-character keyword field, repeat that for every language, then wait to see what happened. Most of the time goes on moving information between tools. If you run one app on your own, that work is the first thing to slip.
Apptiller does the reading and the drafting, and leaves you the decision.
How a change happens
- Propose. From your tracked searches and what AI answers say, a model drafts text that stays within Apple's character limits, with the evidence behind it.
- Approve. You see the text before and after, and exactly where it will be written.
- Write. Apptiller first reads the live listing and only writes if the text is still the one it started from, so it never overwrites an edit you made yourself.
- Measure. It compares ranks and downloads afterwards, or tells you it is too early to say.
- Keep or undo. Keep what worked. Put the old text back in one step while the live text is still the one Apptiller wrote.
Every locale, from what is live
Apptiller reads your listing from App Store Connect each day: name, subtitle, keyword field, promotional text and description, for every locale, from the live version or the one you are preparing. The Listing tab shows how many characters each field uses and how many of your tracked terms each locale covers, so unused space stands out.
Your first proposal comes before you connect anything
When you add an App Store link, Apptiller reads public data and finds the searches that fit the app. Once the first ranks are in, it drafts a better subtitle. You see a concrete suggestion for your own app in minutes, and connecting your key is only needed to apply it. You can see the same read without an account in the free check at the top of this page.
More than the listing
The App Store has other organic moves that most small teams never get to. Pro drafts featuring nominations for Apple, in-app events, and custom product pages grouped around what different searchers want. Apptiller creates these as drafts in App Store Connect when you approve. See localization and custom pages.
What it won't do
Apptiller never changes your listing on its own. There is no autopilot for your store text. It also cannot promise a rank. Apple's ranking depends on things no tool controls, including downloads, ratings and what competitors do. What it can do is make each change small, explained and measured, so you learn what works for your app instead of guessing.
What a good proposal looks like
A proposal is specific enough to act on. It names the field, shows the current text and the new text with characters used, and lists the evidence. For example: four of the top five apps for "meal planner" use that phrase in their name or subtitle, yours does not, the search fits your app, and your subtitle has 14 characters free. It also tells you what pressing the button will do, and where the text will be written.
Proposals can be turned down. If you snooze one it comes back on a date, and if you reject it Apptiller does not keep asking. You can also edit the text before approving, because you know your app better than any model does.
Why changes are small and one at a time
If you rewrite your title, subtitle and keywords in the same release, you won't know which change helped. Rankings also take time to settle after a new version goes live. So Apptiller favours small changes it can compare, and says "too early to tell" when the numbers don't support a verdict yet. Over a few months that builds up a record of what works for your app, which is worth more than a generic checklist.
Your text still goes through Apple. Name, subtitle and keywords change with a new app version, and promotional text can change at any time, so timing a change with your next release is often the simplest route.
Getting started
Run the free check above to see what public data says about your app. To get proposals of your own, add the app; to have them written for you, connect an App Store Connect key on Solo or above. Every applied change appears in your history, with what it replaced.
Questions
Is this for developers without marketing experience?
Yes. Apptiller is built for founders who run their own apps. Each proposal says what changes, why and what the button does, in plain words.
What access does it need?
An App Store Connect API key with the App Manager role to read and write your listing. Keys are encrypted at rest and never shown back in full.
Which plan applies changes?
Solo and above write approved changes to App Store Connect. On Free you can see proposals and copy the text yourself.
Does it work for Google Play?
App Store apps today. Google Play is coming within six months.
Keyword tracking
Your keyword fields in every locale, daily ranks, who holds #1 and how hard each search is.
